What happened at Metro Center Station
In a wild day at Metro Centre, it was reported. According to Metro, two men were arguing when one of them repeatedly stabbed the other before tossing a bicycle down the tracks, which was then struck by a train. The victim has serious injuries, but Wmata believes he should live, and the culprit is in detention.
Because of the police investigation, Red Line trains are operating in single tracks between Farragut North and Judiciary Square. Metro reports that crews had to remove the bicycle from under the train.
